Systems for logistics in Katowicesince 2020
Routes and documents in one system
We can deploy open route-planning engines for you, such as VROOM and Valhalla on OpenStreetMap maps, while AI makes a first reading of waybills and delivery documents. A person approves the route plan and every reading. No subscription. The system and the code are yours.
From the first call you work with the architect who builds your system.

What they come with
You know this from the dispatch desk
This is usually how it looks before a company has its own system.
Routes in a spreadsheet and in the dispatcher’s head
The delivery order is worked out by hand, from memory or in Excel. When a new order comes in or a truck breaks down, the plan has to be redone from scratch.
CMR and WZ retyped by hand
Someone retypes data from consignment notes, WZ delivery notes and proofs of delivery into a system or a spreadsheet, often from a photo on the driver’s phone.
“Where is my shipment?”
Clients call and write for a status, and the answer takes a call to the driver or a look into several systems.
Proof of delivery comes back late
Until the signed document reaches the office, it is hard to close the order and issue the invoice.
Quote requests in the inbox
Requests arrive by email, each in a different form. Before anyone replies, they have to pull the route, date, weight and type of cargo out of them.
Systems that do not connect
The TMS, WMS, telematics and accounting software each hold their own data, and files and emails travel between them.
What we build
Routes, documents and a client portal
On open engines, deployed on your side.
We can deploy the open VROOM optimizer with the Valhalla routing engine, which knows a truck’s height, width and weight, on OpenStreetMap maps. For unusual rules we would reach for the Google OR-Tools solver.
The engines run on your server, with no licence fees for the engine itself: you pay for the deployment and the server. The map carries the credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors”, which the data licence requires.
- Many vehicles, delivery time windows and capacity
- Pickups and deliveries in a single run
- A plan on the map that the dispatcher corrects before sending it out
AI pulls data out of a photo or a PDF and hands it over for checking before it reaches the order.
AI can make mistakes, so the last word stays with a person: an employee approves every reading. We use ready-made models and do not train our own.
- Photos from the driver’s phone and PDF scans
- Fields read out next to a preview of the original
- The document attached to the order and the client
The client sees their orders, statuses and proofs of delivery, so they call the office less often.
No subscription: the system and the code are yours.
- Orders placed through a form instead of email
- Order status updated by the driver or the warehouse
- Proof of delivery ready to download as soon as the order is closed
The system does not replace your TMS or WMS, it only connects them with routes, documents and the portal.
What your systems expose, we check at the free consultation.
- Connection through an API or file exchange
- Vehicle positions from telematics, if the provider offers an API
- Invoices through KSeF and data for the accounting software
AI pulls the route, date and cargo out of an email, and an employee gets a ready draft reply.
AI sends nothing by itself and does not set prices: it prepares a draft according to the rules you give it.
- Requests from email and the form in one queue
- Missing details listed before anyone replies
- The price and the reply are approved by an employee
We reply and arrange a free consultation.
Who it is for
From the carrier to the warehouse
PARP study (2026): 26% of transport and logistics companies use AI.
Carriers
The run plan and trip documents in one place.- Delivery order calculated with vehicle capacity and clients’ time windows.
- From 1 July 2026, vehicles in international transport and cabotage whose maximum permissible mass, including any trailer or semi-trailer, exceeds 2.5 t must have a second-generation smart tachograph and are subject to the driving-time rules (EU Regulation 2020/1054). Driver breaks go into the route plan.
- CMR and proofs of delivery from the driver’s photo go into the order.
Freight forwarders
Orders, carriers and statuses without digging through emails.- From 9 July 2027, EU enforcement authorities must accept transport information in electronic form (eFTI Regulation 2020/1056). For companies it is a choice, not an obligation.
- The client checks the status in the portal instead of calling the forwarder.
- Quote requests in one queue, with a draft reply from AI.
Warehouses and 3PL operators
Receipts, issues and documents visible to every client.- Data from your WMS in the client portal, without manual reports.
- Issue documents and proofs of delivery attached to the order.
- Each client sees only their own orders and documents.
Distribution and own delivery
Many stops a day, each with a different delivery window.- A route calculated to fit within the recipients’ delivery windows.
- KSeF is mandatory from 2026, and the transitional exceptions under Art. 145m and 145n of the VAT Act are temporary. The invoice for a delivery can go out right after it is confirmed.
- The driver gets the order of stops and closes the delivery with a photo of the document.
Cost
See what the price is made of
Below is an example calculation. All amounts are approximate, and the quote for every project is individual.
An example system scope

- System coreSign-in, user roles, the database and the panel the modules are built on.~ 20,000 PLN
This is an example, not an offer
Select the modules to see how a price can add up. The amounts are approximate and may differ: the cost of your project depends on your processes, the number of users, integrations and requirements, so the final quote can be lower or higher. You get the exact, individual quote after a free consultation.
Net amounts, excluding VAT. This is an example calculation, not an offer: your processes decide the price, not a price list.
The system and the code are yours, with no recurring licence fees. Support after launch is optional.

Who you work withIT agency in Katowice
You talk directly to the company’s founder
ITCompass designs AI-powered CRM, ERP and automations for small and mid-sized companies. No middlemen: you talk through your processes directly with the architect who designs your system and leads its build. Requirements are not passed along a chain of people, so nothing gets lost on the way.
A system built around your processes
We do not sell a template. Every company works differently, so we design each system from scratch around your processes and prepare an individual quote after a free consultation.
Our own product in production
We built and run Biurko ourselves, a Polish SaaS for sending invoices to KSeF. We know a system from design all the way to maintenance.

Questions
What they ask logistics companies
Price, routing engines, maps, TMS, AI and data: answers before you ask.
We publish our prices up front, net of VAT: automating a single process is from 8,000 PLN, and a CRM or ERP system with AI is 20–90k PLN. In the Pricing section you can put together a rough estimate from modules. The exact price is set individually after a free consultation, because your processes decide the scope.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We build systems with AI, integrations and document reading for other industries, and the routing engines we propose are open: their code and documentation are public. That is why we start with a free consultation and a small stage that ends with a sign-off: before the whole thing exists, you see a working piece on your own data.
They are open programs that we can deploy on your server. VROOM works out the delivery order for many vehicles: with time windows, capacity, driver breaks and pickups along the way. Valhalla and OSRM calculate routes and travel times on OpenStreetMap roads, and Valhalla also takes a truck’s height, width and weight into account. Google OR-Tools and Timefold Solver Community edition are solvers for rules that a ready-made optimizer cannot handle. VROOM and OSRM are under the BSD licence, Valhalla under MIT, OR-Tools and Timefold Community under Apache 2.0, so you pay no licence fee for them. Paid are, for example, GraphHopper route optimization in the cloud and Timefold Enterprise: if they turn out to be needed, we will tell you before the quote.
No. The routing engines work on OpenStreetMap data, released under the open ODbL licence. There is one condition: the map carries the credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors” with a link to the OSM copyright page. An open geocoder, such as Nominatim or Photon, turns addresses into coordinates. You pay for the server on which the engines and maps run. How precisely the map describes truck restrictions on your routes, we check on your own data before we promise a result.
No. The system adds what yours do not do: route planning, document reading, a client portal. If your TMS or WMS has an API or imports from a file, data can flow without retyping. What they expose, we check at the free consultation.
It can get it wrong, especially with handwritten entries and a poor photo, which is why we do not leave it the last word. AI shows the fields it read next to a preview of the document: a person checks them, corrects them and approves them before they reach the order. We use ready-made models and do not train our own.
If our work gives us access to personal data, for example of drivers or recipients, we sign a data processing agreement before we start (Art. 28 GDPR (RODO)). Access inside the system is limited by roles: a client sees only their own orders, a driver only their own runs. The connection is encrypted (SSL), backups run automatically, and the test environment is kept apart from production. Which AI services we use and what data reaches them is agreed with you before launch.
The timeline depends on the scope and we give it together with the quote, broken down by stage. Every stage ends with an acceptance report, so you see a working part of the system, for example route planning on your own orders, before the whole thing exists.
You will. You pay for the work, not for a licence: there is no subscription. When we finish, we hand over the source code, the documentation and the access credentials, so you can develop the system yourself or with another company. The open engines stay under their own licences, and we describe their terms in the documentation.
