A User is anyone who uses the Website. A Consumer is a User who is a natural person using the Website for purposes not directly related to their business or professional activity. The Terms are available free of charge on the website in a form that can be read, saved and printed.
Scope of services
Through the Website we provide the following services electronically and free of charge:
- Access to content — browsing information about the ITCompass offer, projects, client testimonials and blog articles (also via an RSS feed), in three language versions.
- Notifications about new posts — emails sent to the address provided by the User when a new post is published on the blog.
- Contact form — sending us a short enquiry (name, email address, description of the process) from the “Get in touch” section of the home page. The service is one-off and ends when the form is sent; we reply by email. The processing of data from the form is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Website does not sell anything, does not require an account or login, and does not allow a project agreement to be concluded. Information about services, scope and prices is informational and does not constitute an offer within the meaning of Article 66 of the Polish Civil Code; we provide a binding quote individually, after a conversation about your needs.
Technical requirements
To use the Website you need a device with internet access and an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript enabled. To receive notifications you need your own email address. Some features (remembering the language, the theme and the thank-you message after signing up) use cookies — see the Cookie Policy.
Rules of use
You use the Website in accordance with the law, good practice and the Terms. In particular, you must not:
- enter someone else's email address in the form without the owner's authorisation,
- take actions that disrupt the operation of the Website or its safeguards, including attempts at unauthorised access, mass sending of requests, or automated downloading of content in a way that burdens the server,
- introduce unlawful content or malware into the Website,
- impersonate another person or company.
We may block access to the Website or remove an address from the notification list if someone breaches these rules.
Copyright
The texts, graphics, photos, layout, visual design and code of the Website are protected by copyright and belong to ITCompass Artem Shevchenko or are used with the permission of the rights holders. The names, marks and materials of the companies for which we carried out projects are the property of those companies and are shown with their consent.
You may read the Website, use the RSS feed, quote excerpts of articles within the limits of fair use provided you name the author and link to the source, and share links to posts. Copying whole articles, the project database or the design of the website, as well as adapting them and publishing them under your own name, requires our prior consent.
Liability
We take care that the content of the Website is reliable and up to date, but it is informational and is not legal, tax or financial advice. We provide the Website “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted access — technical interruptions and failures are possible, and we try to fix them as quickly as we can.
We are not responsible for the content or operation of external websites to which the Website links. Towards Users who are businesses, our liability for damage arising from the use of the Website's free features is limited to actual loss, excluding lost profits, unless the damage was caused by our intentional fault. Towards Consumers, no provision of the Terms limits their rights under mandatory provisions of law.
Complaints
You can report objections about the operation of the Website or the notifications to contact@itcompass.io. Describe what the problem concerns and give an email address for the reply. We consider reports and reply within 14 days of receiving them.
A Consumer may also use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, and the help of the county (municipal) consumer ombudsman. Any disputes are resolved by the court competent under generally applicable provisions.
Personal data
The controller of personal data processed in connection with the Website is ITCompass Artem Shevchenko. The scope, purposes, legal bases, retention periods and the rights of data subjects are described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and final provisions
We may change the Terms for important reasons, such as a change in the law, in the scope of services or in the way the Website works. Changes apply from the day they are published on this page and do not affect rights the User acquired earlier; the date of the last change is shown at the top of the document. We will inform subscribers of significant changes concerning notifications by email, and anyone who does not accept them may unsubscribe.
Polish law applies to the services provided under the Terms. The Polish version is binding; translations are for reference only.
